Many years ago, China had a soaring population. So much that they implemented a rule to all women who were planning to have babies that they could only have one child. Due to overpopulation and growing poverty concerns, China’s one-child policy had been around for almost 35 years in Beijing
The stocks that are relevant for maternity and baby products have risen to new heights. The reason is because of the change for family planning in China. Couples may now have three babies as announced by the Chinese Communist Party’s top leaders. A date has not yet been set for this ruling.
Good Baby, Jinx infertility group gained 18 percent, and Aidigong Maternal & Child Health rose 22% in Mondays trading.
Beingmate, the infant formula manufacturer, rose up 8% in and Goldlok Holdings, the maker of electric trains and dolls, was up 10%. Along with Clothing maker Lancy, traded up 7%.
China has had its slowest growth rate in decades as seen in the 2020 census. A younger workforce is now pressured to keep up the high levels of growth.
