Jonathan Bush, the brother of President George HW Bush, passed away at his home in Juniper, Florida. He was just about to celebrate his 90th birthday the day before. The cause of his death is not known.
His brother worked in finance to help raise campaigns for his White House campaign. Jonathan Bush founded J. Bush & Co., which provided discreet banking services for the Washington, D.C., embassies of foreign governments for many years. In 1997, Riggs Bank bought J. Bush & Co. and made Bush CEO & President of Riggs Investment, a firm based in New Haven, Connecticut.
Jonathan Bush was one of the last of five elder members surviving the Bush family.
