The singer honors her Christian beliefs. She famously abstained from having sexual relations with her future husband Russell Wilson prior to their marriage in 2016. Wilson has also made a point of expressing his Christian faith, frequently giving God praise following his professional football games and donning cross necklaces. He spent about ten years playing for the Seattle Seahawks before being traded to the Denver Broncos earlier this year. Although Ciara recently said that she and her family love living in Colorado city, she also acknowledged that she has had to get used to the high altitude.
