Celebrity David Schwimmer, alum of popular TV show Friends is the latest celebrity who is commenting on the Kanye West saga. The popular actor asked Adidas to drop the celebrity rapper for his anti-semitic remarks. The popular musician Ye (as he is now called) had been canceled by many after his tirade against the Jewish community. According to reports, he lost longtime friends including Justin and Hailey Bieber, his banker JP Morgan Chase, clothing brand Gap, and most recently French fashion house Balenciaga, according to its parent company Kering.

David Schwimmer wrote, “Now what, Adidas?” on a post on the caption and asked people to join him and the Anti-Defamation League to demand that Adidas cancels its relationship with Kanye West. He added a hashtag RunAwayFromHate and added a link to a petition that asked for the rapper to be be dropped from the collaboration.

The Anti-Defamation League wrote an open letter to Kasper Rorsted, who is the CEO of Adidas and Thomas Rube, who is the Chair of the board. The letter urged the company to drop the deal it has with the celebrity rapper. It is worth $220 million per year and totally $1.5 billion, according to Forbes.

Celebrity David Schwimmer, 55 shared a video that showed celebrity musician Kanye West, 45 saying, “The thing I can say about Adidas is, I can literally say anti-Semitic s**t and they can’t drop me, I can say anti-Semitic things and Adidas can’t drop me. Now what? Now what?”

Earlier, Adidas had said that its business partnership with Kanye West was “under review.” The popular sporting goods brand has collaborated with Ye’s brand Yeezy from 2015. Both the company and the rapper have profited from the collaboration and the current silence from Adidas has made people ask the major sports brand to drop the Yeezy brand as its founder has made several anti-Semitic remarks.

Neither Kanye West nor Adidas have recently commented on the collaboration, nor have they responded when asked for comment.
