Celebrity former Barcelona footballer Gerard Piqué has shared a selfie with his current girlfriend Clara Chia. Although the relationship has been on for several weeks, the footballer has finally made an acknowledgment of it, on social media, two weeks after he was dissed in a song by his ex-Shakira. Celebrity singer Shakira recently released a song with DJ Bizzarap. The lyrics compared the footballer’s current relationship unfavorably with his former relationship with her.
The former Barcelona defender, 35, posted the photo with his girlfriend Clara Chia, 24 on social media. He left the comments section open and received various responses. Some of them were jokes while others praised the former Barca player for not bothering about negative comments on his relationship.
Last June, the celebrity couple Gerard Piqué and Shakira announced that they were separating. Their joint statement asked for privacy for the sake of their children. They had been together for more than 11 years after they confirmed their relationship. They have two children—Milan, ten and Sasha, 7.
