Celebrity Kanye West is laying low to a certain extent after his marriage. However, his problems refused to go away as Ye had created an awful mess in his business relationships. He has temporarily salvaged his relationship with Adidas as the giant is offloading its Yeezy brand stock for sustainability, and Kanye is expected to get his reported 15 percent due to his contract. However, giant clothing company Gap is suing rapper Ye for the unauthorized construction carried out by the Yeezy brand on a rented property.
Art City Center, a company that rented out space to Gap, sued the apparel giant for making unapproved changes to the Los Angeles retail location. The building owner filed a lawsuit against Gap.
On April 2, Gap filed a lawsuit against rapper Kanye West as he and his brand Yeezy had made unauthorized changes in the building. The clothing company claimed that it was not responsible for the changes in the retail space owned by Art City Center.

The lawsuit claimed that the defendants had made several “alterations to the building at the subject premises without Gap’s approval, much less pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.”
Gap broke its partnership about a year or more after it had announced a 10-year deal with a new line from rapper Kanye which was called “Yeezy Gap.” As part of the partnership deal with the Yeezy brand the apparel giant had agreed to open five retail locations. One of these locations was the LA property, whose owner is the Art City Center.
As reported earlier, Kanye West lost several business partnerships after he made a series of antisemitic remarks.
Reps of rapper Kanye West have not responded when asked for comment while Gap declined to comment as legal proceedings are ongoing.
