Celebrity entertainer, Stephen Gilchrist Glover, professionally known as Steve-O, has stated that he dreads witnessing his former Jackass co-star Bam Margera pass away in front of him. The two friends had a fallout after writer-producer Johnny Knoxville Knoxville and Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory fired Bam from the movie “Jackass Forever” for his inability to stay sober.
Steve-O begged his friend to stop using drugs and “choose recovery” in an emotional social media plea. Margera’s battle with drugs and alcohol has received extensive media coverage over the years. For the sake of his young son, Steve-O said he is pleading with Bam Margera in a since-deleted social media comment.

In 2000, when the first episode of the Jackass series aired, Bam quickly became well-known. Bam has been on the road with his “Jackass” co-star in the first leg of his comedy tour. At one of the stops, Bam even brought his son Phoenix, whom he shares with his wife, featred, onstage with him. After a positive Adderall test, Margera was let go from the project. Over the past year or so, Bam has been on a turbulent journey, hopping in and out of rehab centers, frequently under a court order, and frequently finding himself in situations where he is partying hard and drinking excessively.

After Bam was fired from Jackass Forever, he actually sued the Jackass team for wrongful termination, but that case was later dropped and settled out of court. All seemed to be well until Bam posted a shocking caption for Steve-O that spurred a hard truth from the television personality.
Steve-O replied with a since-deleted comment that is difficult to understand. He says he’s bracing himself for the possibility of hearing about Bam’s passing and that there is nothing more he can do to save him. He accuses Bam of staying up all night and getting wasted after the last show when he made the post.

The stunt performer said that Bam had said that he wanted to have a relationship with his son, but his actions state “the exact opposite” would be likely. In an effort to reach out to his friend, the comedian claimed to have “tried everything” but added that he could not force Bam to get honest “and do the work of recovery.”
Even though Steve-O may have taken the remark down, he reportedly told that if Bam wants to actually achieve sobriety, he would not stop supporting him. If not, he claims he has done everything he can and that there is nothing else he can do to try to get him to want to get better. After a few minutes, he decided to remove the comment because he was at a loss for words.
