Could Twitter’s own currency, the Twitter coin, replace Dogecoin? Several Twitter users have hypothesized that the Twitter Coin may be an official Dogecoin acceptance, allowing Twitter to include the meme coin. The potential existence of a Twitter Coin may have some significance for Dogecoin, although neither Elon Musk nor Twitter have officially commented on the speculated cryptocurrency (DOGE). For now, this is just speculation.
The formal debut of other “crypto assets” that are popular on Twitter, such as DOGE and Bitcoin, could be troublesome if the Twitter Coin turns out to be a different standalone cryptocurrency (BTC). The lack of formal backing for any other cryptocurrencies by the Elon Musk-led corporation implied by the existence of a Twitter Coin. The photos released by Owji and Wong, however, imply that Twitter might incorporate several cryptocurrencies in addition to the Twitter Coin.

The crypto world is presently speculating on what the purported disclosure would entail for Bitcoin as well as Dogecoin (DOGE), Musk’s preferred cryptocurrency. A proprietary coin from Twitter would remove the need to merge both cryptocurrencies, which would initially be detrimental for DOGE and BTC.
The disclosure of the API, though, would suggest that Musk is paying attention to more than one cryptocurrency. Thus, the DOGE and Bitcoin might complement the Twitter Coin. A Twitter connection for cryptocurrency wallets might therefore be advantageous for the entire crypto sector.
Elon Musk has announced his aim to integrate digital payments into “The Everything App,” which he refers to as Twitter 2.0. Musk did not specifically name Dogecoin in his tweet, but DOGE’s value soared nonetheless. The community reportedly hypothesized that DOGE was a component of Musk’s cryptocurrency plans for Twitter.
