Harrison Ford To Return as Indiana Jones In A Fifth Movie

Disney posted a tweet on Friday and said that “Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will be back to continue his iconic character’s journey.


It also confirmed this news in an investor presentation and said that the movie was presently in “pre-production. ”In February Ford had mentioned it in the Ellen DeGeneres talk show.

“It’s going to be fun. I’m excited,” he said on the show. “They’re great fun to make.”

 The first movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark” debuted in 1981. In 1984, the next one “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” was released. The third movie, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” was released in 1989.

 After a hiatus of almost two decades “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” was released in 2008.After 41 years, fans will get to see Harrison Ford grab his whip and ram his hat in his inimitable style, once again, in the fifth movie.

 In an interview with CBS, Ford said that he feels a sense of “responsibility” whenever he returns to reprise an iconic role. I feel obliged to make sure that our efforts are as ambitious as they were when we started,” he said.
