Reports say that the producer of the fantasy series is in early development of its first sequel. No guesses on who will feature in the live action sequel spin-off series. Yes, it is the extremely popular and fan-favorite character, Jon Snow, impeccably played by celebrity actor Kit Harington.

In a article, the Hollywood Reporter said that the twice nominated for an Emmy actor, Kit Harington will once again portray the role of an action hero, as he struggles to uphold family values in a difficult world. However, HBO and representatives of Kit the celebrity star did not respond when asked for comment by the outlet.

The 35-year old British actor appeared in the first episode of the immensely popular Game of Thrones TV show in 2011. His popularity rose as the fantasy epic continued through eight seasons. The news of the spinoff series came after the network announced another spinoff House Of The Dragon, which is a prequel to GoT and is set 200 years before the events that take place in the Game of Thrones.

Jon Snow was sent to exile and had to leave the Westeros, after he murdered the queen, Daenerys, when the Game of Thrones series ended. Snow was seen riding north with the wildlings.

Since the spinoff is set after the finale, it remains unsure whether Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams will continue to play the roles of Sansa Stark and Arya Stark. Other popular stars who survived the bloodshed, which was seen in the entire series include Brienne of Tarth played by Gwendoline Christie and Tyrion Lannister played by Peter Dinklage.
