JP Morgan Chase, a leading global banking and financial institution has cut ties with the Yeezy brand launched by celebrity rapper, Kanye West. The official notice from the bank was posted on social media, by Candace Owens. Rapper Ye as he is now called is not new to controversy but his recent posts on social media have made brands, staff, longtime friends and others review their relationship with him and his brand banker JP Morgan Chase is the newest one that is breaking the relationship with him.

Kanye West has been restricted from posting on both Instagram and Twitter after his recent anti-semitic posts as well as his earlier showing at Paris Fashion Week where he, Candace Owens and models wore “White Lives Matter” clothes. This slogan is attributed to far-right groups including the Ku Klux Klan. He followed this controversial stunt by posting on social media that Black Lives Matter was a “scam.”

Within days, he followed it up by attacking Josh Kushner and Jared Kushner, both of whom are Jewish, following which he was suspended from Instagram.

He then posted anti-semitic rhetoric on Twitter and was also banned on this social media platform.

On Wednesday, Candace Owens,, who twinned Kanye West “White Lives Matter” at the show posted on Twitter that although no official reason was given, JP Morgan Chase had sent a letter that confirmed that Kanye had time till late November to find another bank to hold the Yeezy billions.

Kanye’s controversial conservative friend also posted the letter which was mildly redacted but provided enough insights that JP Morgan Chase was firm in its resolve to end ties with the Yeezy owner.

Kanye West is known for his controversial remarks from years. He has personally attacked his ex celebrity reality star Kim Kardashian and her ex boyfriend Pete Davidson, a contributing editor for Vogue, who called him out for his controversial outfits at Paris Fashion Week and Hailey Bieber, who had supported the editor. An unwarranted attack on his friend Justin Bieber’s wife, Hailey led to the breaking of a longtime friendship between celebrity couple Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber and rapper Kanye West.

The celebrity rapper also got into business arguments and disagreements with Nike, Adidas and Gap, before he posted his anti-semitic remarks. The Kanye West and Gap agreement has been terminated and the agreement with Adidas is under review. JP Morgan Chase is the newest business to cut ties with the rapper, who has posted controversies and personal attacks on social media platforms, till he gets restricted on them.
