Feeling dull, feeling blue, feeling happy, feeling new? LG has a kitchen home appliance just for you! LG Electronics is a global giant that is known for its recent launch of upgradable appliances. It considers itself to have a range of “always evolving” appliances. Its recent fridge called MoodUPTM is its latest innovation in its response to create appliance trends that are new and inspiring. This new refrigerator, released at IFA 20202, promises not only to improve freshness and convenience but can also elevate your mood.
According to LG Electronics, the new refrigerator not only delivers fresh food but also gives its users a new and unique experience. It looks like a traditional refrigerator with a combination of Lux Grey and Lux White as it is placed in the kitchen. However, switching on its LED door panels transforms this fridge into a multi-color mood alleviating marvelous appliance.
The fridge has 22 colors for the upper door panel and 19 colors for the lower door panel. Color themes can be customized. Moods can be refreshed using themes such as Season, Place, Mood and Pop. And that is not all! There is a built-in Bluetooth speaker that can be connected to a smart device.
Users can choose to stream music from their favorite music apps or use the ThinQ app to choose tracks from the Music Collection playlist. The LED panels in MoodUPTM refrigerator can sync with the music by changing colors. This will make time spent in the kitchen fun and lively.
Other useful features include blinking repeatedly if a fridge door is left open by mistake or both panels blinking in welcome when someone approaches the fridge. Midnight snackers have also been considered as the freezer door glows brighter at night, making it easy for late night snackers to find and open the fridge doors.
MoodUPTM refrigerator by LG has the company’s On-Device AI chip developed in-house for its smart home appliances. It improves and extends the features such as upgraded voice recognition, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity in the new refrigerator.
IFA 2022 begins on September 2 and continues till September 6, in Berlin. Visitors can marvel at the experience of using innovative LG appliances including the MoodUPTM refrigerator from the tech innovator. Or else can wait till the company launches it globally, in the near future.
