Celebrity actress Cameron Diaz is officially back in films as celebrity quarterback Tom Brady will take her through the steps to resume acting in movies as she “unretires” from her filmy career. Her comeback film, from giant streaming platform Netflix, is expected to hit screens, later in the year. Cameron Diaz will act opposite Jamie Foxx, in the film titled Back in Action. The Charlie’s Angels star was out of action from 2014.
Legendary footballer Tom Brady gave some advice to Diaz. The NFL legend has personal experience of making a comeback after retiring from football and his pep talk took effect. Co-star Jamie Foxx shared audio in social media, on Twitter. He called both of them GOAT. After the share by the celebrity actor, Cameron Diaz also shared the three-way audio clip on her Instagram story.

Although much is yet unknown about Back in Action, we can confirm that both Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz are celebrity stars in the film. Seth Gordan will be the director. He co-wrote the film’s script with Brendan O’Brien. The film will be in production in the next few months and might hit screens later in the year.
Back in Action is not expected to be similar to the action comedy with the same name from Looney Tunes. That film was released in 2003 and the new film with Diaz and Foxx will be released almost three decades later.
Although Cameron Diaz played her last major role as Miss Hannigan in a remake of the film, Annie, also with Jamie Foxx, she officially retired in 2018. However, the celebrity was involved in other ways including the launch of her own wine brand called Avaline.
Cameron Diaz has published her second book titled The Longevity Book. She also welcomed her first child with her husband. She is married to Benji Madden of Good Charlotte fame.
