Megan Fox agrees to settle $5M lawsuit with Brad Pitt’s manager two years after she bought the mansion.  Mega fox currently lives in  Calabasas with her three children and husband   actor   Austin Green. Her rent   is $15,000 per month.

Prior to moving to Calabasas, she purchased a house from Brad Pitt in Malibu, California. The house was bought for $3 million dollars. When she moved in she was having serious headaches all the time. She claimed that the house had toxic mold, and this made her to feel not only sick, but stressed out.

Pett-Dante’s legal team reported in court documents that   Megan Fox’s lawyer did not believe Plaintiffs should purchase the Property and described the  house as ‘nightmarish’ and had a ‘cavalcade of deficiencies.” However, the Plaintiff removed their contingencies and agreed to move forward with their purchase.

Fox purchased the Los Angeles home  from Cynthia Pett-Dante in May 2016. Megan found mold and leaks, which required her to spend a lot of money in repairs that cost $500,000. Fox filed a complaint against Pett-Dante in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming   that the home had created had caused serious health issues for her.

Noted in the complaint, “She had done a lot of work to the backyard, upwards of $800,000 of work in the yard, to keep the animals because she rescues animals,” the court records read. “She had a bull when I saw the house. She had goats, llamas, chickens, pigs, and all of that work had been done on that slope, and I had been led to believe that it was legal, and that that was usable property.”

The  complaint against Pett-Dante in the $5 million lawsuit that the home had created serious health issues for her.

Court documents reveal – in her declaration that her body “metabolizes itself” adding, “I eat my own muscle proteins. I lose a lot of weight. I get very sick. So, it’s a cycle that’s stress-induced, and that’s what Dr. Burns treats… [Bon Kim] that’s a different type of medicine, so it’s not phrased the same way, but it’s again just treating symptoms of stress.”

“I knew there was mold. I had been exposed to mold before, and I was getting chronic headaches and having the same health issues,” she said. “Chronic migraines, like I mentioned, but it’s more of an endocrine system issue, where the constant stress or the excessive stress activates the adrenal glands, which sets off the pituitary and the thyroid, and for me that acts in an overactive thyroid.”

In the complaint it was noted:” She had done a lot of work to the backyard, upwards of $800,000 of work in the yard, to keep the animals because she rescues animals. “She had a bull when I saw the house. She had goats, llamas, chickens, pigs, and all of that work had been done on that slope, and I had been led to believe that it was legal, and that that was usable property.”

Los Angeles Judge, David Soleto ruled in an order filed earlier this month that Pett-Dante could review the judgment summary.

Megan Fox agreed to a settlement of $100,000 settlement under the California civil code 998, which means   either party can propose an arbitration settlement to the other in order to avoid going to trial.

The case dismissed with prejudice so Fox would refrain from appealing the ruling.
