Right-handed relief pitcher Carlos Estevez signed a two-year, $13.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Angels on Monday after spending six seasons with the Colorado Rockies.

Estevez, who will turn 30 this month, was 4-4 with two saves and a career-best 3.47 ERA in 62 appearances out of the bullpen for Colorado last season. He has a lifetime ERA of 4.59, 25 saves and an 18-21 record over 321 career games.

He has posted 312 strikeouts against 118 walks, including 54 strikeouts and 23 walks in 57 innings last season.
