Mpumalanga car crash – CWEB.com

Seven people, including two children, were fortunate to escape serious injuries when two cars collided head-on on the N17 near Secunda in Mpumalanga on Saturday afternoon, paramedics said.

“Paramedics from ER24 and local emergency services arrived on the scene at about noon where they found the two cars several metres apart,” ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.

“A six-year-old girl was found ejected from one of the vehicles. Fortunately, she sustained only moderate injuries. Her 12-year-old sister as well as mom and dad were also treated for moderate injuries. Three people from the second vehicle sustained minor injuries.”

The injured were later transported by another service to a nearby hospital for further care. The cause of the collision was not yet known, Vermaak said.
