Established in 2007, CBS Films is a multifaceted studio handling the development, financing, production and marketing of theatrical motion pictures. CBS Films currently plans to release four to six movies a year spanning all genres and will oversee their global distribution with partners while self-distributing the titles theatrically in the United States. The studio has released nearly thirty films to date, including “The Woman In Black,” “The DUFF,” “Middle School,” “Hell Or High Water,” “American Assassin,” and “Patriots Day,” and will be releasing more new titles this year, including “Winchester” and “Hellfest.”
Terry Press is the President of CBS Films. She oversees creative, distribution, marketing and physical production for CBS Films.
Press’ tenure with the division has included homegrown hits like “Last Vegas,” “The DUFF,” Academy Award®-nominated “Hell or High Water,” and “Patriots Day,” as well as acquisitions like Cannes Grand Prix winner “Inside Llewyn Davis” and “Pride.” Prior to joining CBS Films, Press served as the principal of 7570 Marketing Inc., where she consulted on several CBS Films releases, including “The Mechanic,” “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” and “The Woman in Black.” Additionally, she has consulted on recent films such as “The Hunger Games,” “Julie & Julia,” “The Social Network,” and “Valkyrie.” Prior to 7570, Press served as the head of marketing for DreamWorks SKG, where she oversaw the campaigns for all live-action and animated features, including “Saving Private Ryan,” “American Beauty,” “Gladiator” and

Steven Friedlander is Executive Vice President of Theatrical Distribution for CBS Films.
Friedlander joined CBS from Warner Independent Pictures (WIP), where he served as Executive Vice President of Distribution. At WIP, he shepherded distribution plans for titles such as “March of the Penguins” and “Good Night, and Good Luck.”
Prior to joining WIP, Friedlander was the Executive Vice President at Fine Line Features, where he spearheaded theatrical distribution. From 1989 to 1996, he rose through the distribution at New Line Cinema becoming Senior Vice President. Friedlander began his career at 20th Century Fox in 1984.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Reid Sullivan is the Chief Financial Officer for CBS Films.
Sullivan joined CBS from First Look Studios, where he served as CFO. He oversaw finance operations for the independent studio, its subsidiary, First Look Home Entertainment, and the company’s key operating divisions in television, film and branded content.
Prior to joining First Look Studios, Sullivan was CFO for Village Roadshow Pictures Entertainment, where he developed a credit line of $1.4 billion to co-finance films with major studios. During his six year tenure, Village produced over 40 films including “The Matrix Reloaded,” “Ocean’s Eleven,” and “Ocean’s Twelve,” “Miss Congeniality,” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL
Rik Toulon is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CBS Films. He oversees all legal activities for the company as well as performs certain business functions in connection with the company’s distribution, finance, acquisition, key vendor and strategic alliance arrangements. He is also a member of CBS Corporation’s Information Security & Technology Council and Diversity Council.
Toulon joined CBS Films in 2008 from the international law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP where he was a Partner in the Entertainment and Media Group. During his years in private practice, he represented clients in various transactions across all media, including the development, production, financing and distribution of numerous feature films, large-scale content licensing arrangements, joint ventures, and acting as lead entertainment counsel on multiple multi-billion dollar major studio acquisitions.

Scott Shooman is the Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions for CBS Films.
Shooman has overseen the production and completion of films such as “Love The Coopers,” “The Woman In Black” and “Seven Psychopaths”. In his tenure there he has also acquired films such as “Inside Llewyn Davis”, “What If”, “The Kings Of Summer”, “Salmon Fishing In The Yemen”, “The Words”, and “Afflicted”. Prior to his time at CBS Films, Scott rose through the ranks at Sony Pictures Entertainment over the course of a decade. Starting off there in 2000 as an executive assistant, he first worked for Screen Gems and Sony Home Entertainment on such titles as “The Squid And The Whale”, “Super Size Me”, “Stomp The Yard” and “The Gospel”, before moving on to the newly formed Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group in 2006.
