NFL Steelers reach new naming rights deal for stadium

So long Heinz Field. Hello Acrisure Stadium, newly named home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers reached a new 15-year naming rights deal with Acrisure, a Michigan-based insurance brokerage firm, beginning with the 2022 season. The club did not release financial terms of the deal.

“We are excited to partner with Acrisure for the naming rights to our stadium,” Steelers president Art Rooney II said in a statement. “Acrisure provided us with an opportunity to ensure our stadium continues to be a valuable asset for our fans as well as keeping up with the market value of NFL stadiums.”

The change comes after Kraft-Heinz opted against continuing its naming rights after 21 years adorning the home of the Steelers. The stadium had been named Heinz Field since it opened in 2001.
