Allen Flanigan scored a game-high 22 points and Johni Broome added 19 points and 18 rebounds as No. 25 Auburn cruised to a 94-73 victory over visiting Georgia in Southeastern Conference play on Wednesday.

Flannigan shot 8 of 10 from the field, including 3 of 5 from 3-point range, while Broome hit 8 of 11 from the floor in addition to tying a career high in rebounds. Wendell Green Jr. scored 18 points to go along with six assists, and K.D. Johnson finished with 13 points.

The Tigers (17-5, 7-2 SEC), who led by as many as 29 points in the second half, shot 36 of 64 (56.3 percent) from the field, including 9 of 25 (36 percent) from 3-point range. Auburn, which ended a two-game slide and has won six of its past eight games, outrebounded the Bulldogs 37-27.

Auburn’s pressure defense suffocated Georgia, which committed 13 turnovers that the Tigers converted into 20 points. The Bulldogs scored 10 points off the Tigers’ five miscues.

Georgia (14-8, 4-5) was led by Mardrez McBride, who scored a season-high 20 points while shooting 6 of 8 from beyond the arc. Kario Oquendo added 10 points, and Jusaun Holt wound up with nine points.

The Bulldogs, who have dropped four of their past five games, shot 23 of 52 (44.2 percent) from the field, including 14 of 34 (41.2 percent) from 3-point range.

The Tigers put the game away with a 14-5 run midway through the second half to take a 66-41 advantage following Tre Donaldson’s 3-pointer with 11:32 to go.

Auburn took control of the game for good midway through the first half by going on a 17-0 run to take a 33-14 lead following consecutive 3-pointers by Green.

Broome had a first-half double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Green added 11 points in the first 20 minutes for Auburn, which led 42-24 at halftime.
