Activists shouted “F*** Bezos” and members from climate change groups Sunrise Movement and Extinction Rebellion also participated in the rally, according to Mail Online
Protesters held up signs that read “F*** Bezos, your greed is killing us”, warned that “there is no planet B” and advocated “science not silence”.
Chris Smalls, a former Amazon warehouse staffer, was disgracefully fired from his position in Amazon March after he organized a protest for the lack of PPE and hazard pay amid the pandemic.
Amazon reported that nearly 20,000 Amazon workers believe caught COVID-19 and raises a serious questions for consumers ordering products online and receiving them in their offices and homes that could spread mass infections. There are no study yet to suggest this link but the virus is highly contagious.
Also on the positive side no violence has been reported at the rally.
