The Prince and Princess of Wales—Prince William and Kate Middleton continue with their royal duties throughout the year. The royal couple recently visited Foodshare, a food bank in Windsor. The food bank is located near their home called Adelaide cottage. Kate Middleton re-wore a pair of her favorite gold hoop earrings that cost only about $20.
The royal couple went to help volunteers at the food bank. They helped to pack the parcels and also to hear about the concerns of people who are being affected by an increase in the cost of living.
Kate Middleton wore her signature gold hoop earrings along with a simple outfit. She wore a turtle neck jumper (sweater) and a pair of black trousers (pants). She also had a matching jacket.
The royal couple’s job was to check the dates on food items and then pack them into parcels. Although both of them did the same task, there was a winner.
According to reports, Foodshare chief executive Sarah Kember said, “William was very neat at packing.”
Kember added that the royal couple was very interested in what happened in their area and on how the food bank had started and how they got donations. The executive added that they would welcome future visits from the royal couple and that the food bank was “always grateful for a pair of hands.”
One volunteer had joked one of the two of them was better at packing, Prince William modestly and gallantly replied, “One of us is better at cooking than the other!” He was referring to his wife Kate.
Kate Middleton is also good at recycling her clothes and jewelry. She has worn the same outfit on different public occasions. She sometimes adds different accessories to her outfits, for a change. She shops at high street brands such as Marks & Spencer and has bought $6 twisted circle drop earrings by Accessorize. She also recycles handbags and shoes.
