Catherine, the Princess of Wales recently organized her second carol service at Westminster Abbey, in London. It is the first royal carol service to be held after the death of the Queen. In her introduction in the special Christmas Eve broadcast, Catherine has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. The Together at Christmas event, featuring celebrity musicians, people who contributed to increasing community values and the royal family, was held on December 15 and will be broadcast on December 24.
In her introductory address, the Princess of Wales mentioned that Queen Elizabeth II “held Christmas close to her heart.” She also said that the late Queen, “reminded us of the importance of faith, friendship and family” and more.
The carol service featured several celebrity performers including the following:

Nicola Adams.
Kate’s Christmas service also highlighted the services of those who selflessly cared for others including Inna Hryhorovych, who is the headmistress of St. Mary’s Ukrainian School, in London. Students from the school also sang a carol at the service. Fans are super excited.
Earlier, Kate had planted a wild cherry tree in the Dean’s Yard at Westminster Abbey. The abbey’s Instagram account posted on the gift with a photo and a plaque that read that the wild cherry tree was “a gift from the Duchy of Cornwall” and had been planted as a dedication to the memory of “Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales on 14th December 2022.”
As the first Christmas without their beloved Queen, mother, and grandmother approaches, the royal family and citizens of Great Britain will honor the Queen and remember her in her poignant platinum jubilee year.
