Tesla Truck Delay – CWEB.com

Elon Musk said Tesla’s Model 3 was “deep in production hell” echoing his own comments in July, when he showed off some of the first cars of that model. Tesla completed missed its initial targets for Model 3 production, only producing 260 of an expected 1,500 cars. Tesla CEO Elon Musk just announced that the company will delay its electric semi-truck to focus on Model 3 production after missing its targets for the much anticipated car.

Tesla was originally set to unveil the semi-trailer on October 26 in Hawthorne, California.

Elon Musk also tweeted the company was diverting resources to increasing battery production to help hurricane-hit Puerto Rico, where most residents remain without electricity.
