After reportedly duct taping, knife-cutting, and repeatedly choke-choking her Tinder date, a lady has been charged with several offenses.

According to an affidavit, 22-year-old Lauren Marie Dooley was detained last Wednesday and charged with one felony count of second-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, and menacing. Just before six o’clock on that day, police were called to her apartment complex. They were there looking into an unidentified plea for help.

The victim was found in the parking lot naked when they arrived. The affidavit stated that Dooley “looked to have blood smeared over her arms and hands” and that the 21-year-old guy was backing away while bleeding from a cut on his left arm. The lady told police that Dooley insisted he enter her bedroom and pulled out a kitchen knife.

He complied and entered Lauren’s bed out of fear that she might cut him with the knife. In order to cut his left shoulder, Lauren climbed on top of him, according to the affidavit.

The victim reported to the police that Dooley had ordered meals from DoorDash and threatened to kill him if he mentioned anything. After eating, she climbed into the victim’s bed and dozed off. He managed to untie himself from the duct tape at that point and slip out of her place to phone the police. On Thursday, Dooley is expected to appear in court.
