Jennifer Weisselberg, former wife of Barry Weisselberg and daughter-in-law of Alan Weisselberg, both of whom work for the Trump Organization, received an eviction notice. She has been living in her Manhattan apartment from 2018, after her divorce from Barry and Alan Weisselberg the CFO of the Trump Organization and her ex-father-in-law was the guarantor. She has recently cooperated with the federal probes into the financial dealings of the Trump Organization and may have given them paperwork that is relevant to the investigations.

Jennifer had been paying the $6,050 monthly rent but had fallen behind payments during the pandemic. On Thursday, she told CBS News that she had regularly paid the rent earlier but was unable to keep up with rentals in 2020 due to financial and legal issues.

Last year, Jennifer had cooperated with both the District Attorney’s office in Manhattan and the Attorney General’s Office in New York. She spoke to several of the members and gave them some information about the dealings at the Trump Organization.

In April 2021, the Washington Post had reported that Jennifer was served a subpoena to turn over materials connected to her ex-husband’s financial dealings. These included information on bank accountants and credit cards. It also asked for tax filings and statements of net worth. Jennifer handed over boxes and boxes of information to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

On CNN’s show “New Day” Jennifer was asked if there was any retribution or backlash for turning over the information she had to the prosecutors. She said that she had been asked to leave her apartment within the next seven days. When asked why she replied that because she was not wrong about the information she had given. She also said that this was the first time that they seemed nervous.

Alan Weisselberg is being investigated by the DA’s office. No charges have been brought against him. Sources say that they are hoping that he would flip. He has a treasure trove of information against Donald Trump and the Trump Organization.
