Ueli Steck death – CWEB.com

It was reported that Swiss climber Ueli Steck, more popularly known as “Swiss Machine”,
has died in an accident near Camp II on Mount Everest, making it the first death of the season in the Everest.

Ueli Steck is and will forever be known as a legend in the sport of climbing in mountaineering. The sport of climbing and mountaineering continues to lose its legends one after another. Mountaineering and climbing will forever be dangerous and cutting edge sports, but in a big way I’m inspired and motivated by those who live their life to the fullest as Ueli Steck did. I will forever miss reading about his accolades and mountaineering accomplishments. RIP ‘The Swiss Machine’
