The trending musical collaboration achieved another milestone, as they appeared live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday. Their debut performance became even more special as an enormous fan base provided backing vocals for the singer. This song was her first diss song against Gerard Piqué, her former partner of 11 years and father of their two children.

Shakira wore a mesh cut-out top and leather chaps. She began the song with a howl, in a nod to the song where the celebrity singer referred to herself as a she-wolf. The performance at the popular show included a recreation of a recording studio, similar to the original video, when the song was released in January. The performance included DJ Bizarrap working on the music just like the video. He remained in the background while Shakira was seen singing in the foreground.
