Astralis reportedly reached an agreement to sign Danish rifler Victor “Staehr” Staehr when his contract with Sprout expires in 2024.

The teams are discussing an earlier transfer but have not agreed on a buyout number, HLTV reported on Thursday.

Staehr, 18, has been with Sprout since January 2022.

The Astralis Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team is currently competing at the Intel Extreme Masters Dallas event and will meet MOUZ in the quarterfinals on Friday.

It isn’t clear which player Staehr might replace. The all-Danish roster includes Andreas “Xyp9x” Hojsleth, Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, Benjamin “blameF” Bremer, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, Christian “Buzz” Andersen and Alexander “Altekz” Givskov.

Altekz and Buzz, both rookies, are the most likely candidates to leave, according to dotesports.com.
