Team Vitality posted a 2-1 win over Heroic on Wednesday to win the grand final of Group A at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Vitality sandwiched a 16-11 win on Mirage and 16-8 victory on Vertigo around a 16-13 setback on Nuke. The win allowed Vitality to advance to the Spring Final.

Frenchman Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut recorded 63 kills and a plus-24 kills-to-death differential for Vitality.

Denmark’s Rene “TeSes” Madsen collected 54 kills and a minus-6 kills-to-death differential to pace Heroic, who moved on to Round 2 in the play-in stage. They will await the winner of first-round clash between Team Liquid and BIG.

Also on Wednesday, Natus Vincere topped Ninjas in Pyjamas to reach the grand final of Group C.

Na’Vi outlasted NiP 16-10 on Inferno to grab a 1-0 lead, but NiP rebounded with a 16-7 victory on Mirage. Na’Vi took the decider, 16-5 on Overpass.

Ukrainians Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Valery “b1t” Vakhovskiy led Na’Vi. s1mple tallied 66 kills and a plus-29 kills-to-deaths differential, while b1t registered 50 kills and a plus-16 differential.

The Group C final is set for Thursday, and Na’Vi will meet G2Esports. FaZe Clan and OG also will face off in the Group B final.

A prize pool of $177,498 will be distributed to the 12 participants in the Spring event, with $27,500 going to the top three finishers along with qualification for the Spring Final later this season.
