DOTA News: Fit to be tied: Eight draws at DreamLeague Season 22

BetBoom Team and Team Falcons played to a 1-1 draw during their Group A clash in Wednesday’s action at the DreamLeague Season 22.

Team Falcons recorded a 31-minute win on green in the opening map before BetBoom Team answered with a 38-minute triumph on green. The 1-1 draw kept first-place BetBoom Team one map ahead of Team Falcons in the Group A standings.

Speaking of draws, the remaining three matches in Group A and all four contests in Group B also finished with the same 1-1 result.

Gaimin Gladiators remained in a three-team tie for third place in Group A following their tie with G2.iG. The Gladiators notched a win in 44 minutes on green before dropping a 40-minute decision on green in the second map.

OG tied with Heroic to stay in a third-place tie with Virtus.pro, who finished with a draw against Azure Ray.

The three-team tie atop Group B involving Xtreme Gaming, Shopify Rebellion and Aurora each notched a draw. Xtreme Gaming posted a 67-minute win on red before Shopify Rebellion countered with a 26-minute victory on red, while Aurora seized a 62-minute win on red versus Team Spirit before the latter answered with an 18-minute victory on red.

Tundra Esports and 1win played to a tie, as did Team Liquid and Team Secret.

DreamLeague Season 22 continued Wednesday with 16 of the top Dota 2 teams from around the globe competing for the $1,000,000 prize pool.

Group Stage 2 features one round robin of the top eight teams to advance, and matches are best-of-three. The playoffs are a four-team, double-elimination bracket. Matches are best-of-three, except the grand final, which is best-of-five.

Critical ESL Pro Tour points toward qualification for additional 2024 events are also on the line. The event concludes March 10 at Meltdown London.
