PSG Quest soared from sixth to second place in Group A with a pair of sweeps Tuesday in the Round Robin Stage at the Dota 2 Elite League.

PSG Quest opened with a 2-0 win against Team Spirit, winning in 48 minutes on red and 40 minutes on green. They later took down G2.iG with a 57-minute victory on red and a 33-minute win on green.

Team Falcons maintained their lead in Group A with a 2-0 win against Entity, which also fell 2-0 earlier against Azure Ray. Falcons defeated Entity in 44 minutes on green and 34 minutes on red.

There was only one 2-0 decision among the four head-to-head matches Tuesday in Group B, with Xtreme Gaming doing the honors vs. Blacklist International. Xtreme Gaming won in 37 minutes on green and 41 minutes on red.

Elsewhere in Group B, BetBoom Team and Aurora finished in a 1-1 draw, as did the bout between BOOM Esports and group leader Team Liquid and the contest between Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports.

Sixteen teams began the Elite League’s Swiss Stage (Group Stage 1), using a modified Swiss system. Nine came from closed qualifier seeds, and seven others were invited. All matches were best-of-three.

The top eight teams moved on to the Round Robin Stage (Group Stage 2), joining eight other teams that were seeded by invitation. That stage runs through Wednesday, with two single round-robin groups of eight teams.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the third- and fourth-place teams will go to the lower bracket. The playoffs begin Friday, and matches are best-of-three until a best-of-five grand final.

The winner takes home $300,000 from the $960,000 prize pool.
