Unfortunately, Apple’s new iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro models will not  come will not come with wired EarPod headphones or the charging adapter. The reason Apple is not including this accessory is because it reports it wants to reduce carbon emissions and cut back on the mining and use of materials that make these items. But does that make sense, you still need to get a new charging cord because the old ones that you may already have will not work. So, how and where do I get the right accessories?  Apple says you will have to buy them separately.

Apple says it is removing those accessories to lessen iPhone packaging, reduce carbon emissions, and cut back on the mining and use of materials used to make these items.
