Alec Bohm hit a double and drove in two runs to lift the host Philadelphia Phillies past the New York Mets 4-1 in the second game of a day-night doubleheader on Saturday.

The Mets won the opener, 8-2.

Rhys Hoskins had two hits and an RBI, J.T. Realmuto contributed an RBI single and Jean Segura and Kyle Schwarber had two hits each for the Phillies, who snapped a three-game losing streak. The Phillies had dropped the first two games of this crucial four-game series.

Philadelphia won despite leaving 11 runners on base.

Phillies starter Bailey Falter tossed six solid innings and gave up two hits and one run. Falter (1-3) struck out three and walked two.

David Robertson threw two scoreless innings to earn his 17th save.

The Mets managed only three hits, but had runners on first and second in the ninth with two outs. Brett Baty grounded out to end the game.

Mets starter David Peterson (6-3) lasted 4 2/3 innings and allowed eight hits and three runs to go along with six strikeouts and two walks.

The Mets loaded the bases with two outs in the first inning and then went ahead 1-0 when Falter unleashed a wild pitch to Jeff McNeil.

The Phillies tied the game at 1 in the bottom of the first after Realmuto hit an RBI single to right field.

In the third, Bohm ripped a two-run double down the left field line for a 3-1 advantage.

Mark Canha singled to open the fifth for the Mets, but Baty flied out. James McCann then struck out and Brandon Nimmo was hit by a pitch. Starling Marte struck out to end the threat.

The Phillies loaded the bases with two outs in the fifth, but Matt Vierling struck out.

McNeil made a spectacular diving catch on a looping hit by Realmuto to halt further damage as the third out came with the bases loaded again in the sixth.

Robertson walked Nimmo with one out in the eighth and Marte struck out. Francisco Lindor popped out to third to end the inning.

Hoskins hit an RBI single in the eighth to cap the scoring.
