Jackson Holliday picked up his first major league hit as part of a two-run seventh inning and the Baltimore Orioles rallied past the visiting Milwaukee Brewers 6-4 on Sunday.

Colton Cowser added his fourth home run in four games to provide an eighth-inning insurance run.

Cedric Mullins and Ryan O’Hearn also homered for the Orioles, who salvaged the finale and have not been swept in 96 series dating back to May 2022. Craig Kimbrel pitched the ninth for his third save.

Blake Perkins had three hits, including a homer, and William Contreras also homered for the Brewers, who had won four straight but went 2-for-17 with runners in scoring position.

In the top of seventh, Perkins attempted to bunt the first pitch by Yennier Cano (2-1), but it rolled foul. He homered on the next pitch to give the Brewers a 4-3 lead.

Jordan Westburg singled leading off the seventh against Abner Uribe (1-1). Holliday snapped an 0-for-13 stretch to begin his career, getting a single to right that sent Westburg to third. Gunnar Henderson singled, scoring Westburg to tie it 4-4 and Holliday scored the go-ahead run on Adley Rutschman’s double-play grounder.

Pitching against his former team, Baltimore starter Corbin Burnes allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits in five innings, with five strikeouts and two walks.

Colin Rea allowed three runs on five hits, walked one and struck out six in 5 2/3 innings for Milwaukee.

Contreras opened the game by smacking Burnes’ second pitch over the wall in center to give Milwaukee the lead.

Henderson was hit by a pitch leading off the Baltimore first and Rutschman singled him to third. O’Hearn later grounded a single to right, scoring Henderson.

Mullins opened the second with a homer and Baltimore led 2-1.

Perkins singled leading off the third and went to second on a disengagement violation by Burnes. After Sal Frelick singled, he attempted to steal second but retreated into a rundown when Rutschman threw down and Perkins stole home to tie the game 2-2.

O’Hearn put the Orioles back on top with a solo homer in the bottom of the third.

Milwaukee’s Willy Adames singled leading off the fourth and Gary Sanchez walked. Brice Turang bunted, Burnes threw low to first and Adames scored on the error.
