Marcus Semien, Corey Seager and Wyatt Langford combined for six hits and three RBIs at the top of the order as the Texas Rangers won their third straight game, beating the Houston Astros 7-2 on Saturday in Arlington, Texas.

Texas led 3-2 before scoring four runs on six straight hits in the eighth inning. Seager singled in a run with one out and scored on a wild pitch following Langford’s run-scoring double. Adolis Garcia capped the rally with an RBI single against Ryan Pressly.

Texas used six relievers, including Kirby Yates (1-0), who earned the win after striking out two in a scoreless sixth inning.

Brock Burke, Jose Urena, Yates, David Robertson, Josh Sborz and Jose Leclerc combined to allow three hits over 5 1/3 shutout innings in relief of starter Jon Gray.

Jose Altuve had three hits for Houston, which stranded 10 baserunners and has lost seven of its first nine games of the season.

Evan Carter went 3-for-5 and Leody Taveras added two hits for the Rangers, who opened the four-game series with a 10-2 victory on Friday.

Texas took a lead in the second inning when Carter hit a leadoff double and scored on Jonah Heim’s one-out single against J.P. France (0-1).

The Astros pulled ahead in the third inning on an error by Seager. Yainer Diaz came to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded, and two runs scored when Seager bobbled Diaz’s grounder to short and made an errant throw to first base.

Gray was lifted after giving up two unearned runs on five hits, with three walks and three strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings.

The Rangers tied the game in the fourth when Taveras delivered a two-out RBI double that scored Jared Walsh, who singled to begin the inning.

Semien put the Rangers ahead 3-2 with two outs in the sixth inning. Bryan Abreu replaced France and was greeted by Semien’s run-scoring single to left field.

Taveras scored from third on the play after reaching base on a fielder’s choice and stealing second before moving to third on a wild pitch.

France gave up three runs on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings. He walked two and struck out four.
