The LA Galaxy announced the transfer Monday of midfielder Samuel Grandsir to France’s Le Havre AC.

The 26-year-old Frenchman had six goals and 10 assists in 67 MLS games (43 starts) with the Galaxy from 2021-22.

“We want to thank Sam for his contributions to the club and we wish him and his family all the best as they return back to France,” said Galaxy head coach Greg Vanney.

The Galaxy retain a sell-on percentage of the transfer fee if he is sold to another club.

Le Havre AC compete in France’s second division, Ligue 2.
