The New England Revolution are acquiring winger Tomas Chancalay on loan from Argentina’s Racing Club, multiple outlets reported Wednesday.

The agreement reportedly includes a purchase option for Chancalay, 24, who has been on loan at Al-Wasl in the UAE Pro League.

Chancalay has recorded 35 goals and 20 assists in 186 professional appearances with Al-Wasl, Racing Club and Argentina’s Colon.

The MLS secondary transfer window opens July 5. New England freed up resources by buying out striker Jozy Altidore’s contract earlier this month.
