MLS News: Report: Timbers signing Ivory Coast F Franck Boli

The Portland Timbers are signing Ivory Coast forward Franck Boli, MLSsoccer.com reported Tuesday.

Terms of the deal to acquire Boli, 29, from Hungary’s Ferencvaros were not immediately available.

Boli has registered 42 goals and 11 assists in 126 matches for Ferencvaros in Hungary’s top flight since 2019.

He previously played professionally in Norway and China.

Portland opened the 2023 season with a 1-0 win Monday night against Sporting Kansas City.
