The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms on one-year contract extensions with defenseman Caleb Jones and forward Philipp Kurashev on Friday.

Jones’ deal has a $1.35 million salary cap hit, while Kurashev’s pact has a $750,000 hit. Both contracts run through the 2022-23 season.

Jones, 25, recorded career-high totals in goals (five), assists (10) and points (15) in 51 games last season.

He played with Seth Jones in the lineup to become the first set of brothers to play for the Blackhawks at the same time since Brent and Rich Sutter. The latter pair last played in the lineup together on Feb. 20, 1995.

Caleb Jones has 34 points (10 goals, 24 assists) in 144 career games with the Edmonton Oilers (2018-21) and Blackhawks.

Kurashev, 22, had 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 67 games last season.

He has totaled 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 121 career games since being selected by the Blackhawks in the fourth round of the 2018 NHL Draft.
