Marco Rossi scored a pair of goals and the Minnesota Wild pulled away for a 4-1 win over the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday afternoon in Saint Paul, Minn.

Mats Zuccarello added a goal and two assists for the Wild, who improved to 3-0 since the team dismissed ex-coach Dean Evason and replaced him with John Hynes. Matt Boldy also scored, and Brock Faber had two assists.

Taylor Raddysh scored the lone goal for Chicago, which lost its third game in a row.

Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 28 of 29 shots to earn the win. It marked the 548th victory of his career, moving him within three victories of matching Patrick Roy (551) for second place on the all-time list.

Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek allowed four goals on 34 shots.

The Wild jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first period and never looked back.

Rossi started the scoring only 2:11 after the opening faceoff. He redirected a shot from the blue line by Faber.

Rossi scored again, this time on the power play, to make it 2-0 with 7:52 remaining in the first period. He blasted a one-timer from the slot off a pass from Frederick Gaudreau.

Zuccarello finished off the first-period scoring to put the Wild on top by three goals. He stood on the right side of the crease, anticipated a pass from Kirill Kaprizov and hammered a one-timer past Mrazek.

In the second period, Minnesota increased its lead to 4-0 on the power play. Boldy scored on a tip-in for his third goal of the season.

The Blackhawks got on the scoreboard with 7:05 left in the third period. Raddysh punched in a power-play goal from near the front of the crease.

Connor Bedard earned an assist on the play, which extended his road points streak to nine games. The 18-year-old rookie has 11 goals and nine assists in his first 23 games.
