Matt Duchene had a goal and two assists to help the visiting Dallas Stars rally past the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2 on Thursday night.

Tyler Seguin had a goal and an assist and Jake Oettinger made 27 saves for the Stars, who had lost two straight for the first time this season and were opening a three-game road trip.

Mason Marchment, Craig Smith and Jason Robertson also tallied for Dallas, and Nils Lundkvist had two assists.

Duchene has three goals and five assists in his past seven games.

Boone Jenner scored his seventh goal of the season for the Blue Jackets, who blew a 2-0 lead to lose for the seventh time in the past eight games (1-4-3). Kirill Marchenko also scored, and Spencer Martin made 26 saves.

The Blue Jackets took a 1-0 lead just 68 seconds into the game. Jack Roslovic entered the offensive zone along the right boards on the rush and passed across ice to Johnny Gaudreau, who centered to Jenner in the slot for the goal.

Jenner has three goals and an assist in his past four games.

Marchenko made it 2-0 at 8:43 of the first period when he converted a pass from Adam Fantilli on a two-on-one rush.

The Stars answered less than a minute later. Marchment passed to Duchene, who skated into the left circle and passed back to Marchment, and the forward ripped a one-timer past Martin from the slot at 9:29 to make it 2-1.

Dallas tied it 2-2 at 10:20 of the second period when Martin made the initial save on Radek Faksa on a two-on-one rush, but Smith knocked in the rebound.

Duchene gave the Stars their first lead when he went 5-hole on a breakaway and the puck trickled in to put Dallas ahead 3-2 at 16:34 of the second period.

Seguin increased the lead to 4-2 at 3:47 of the third period when he deflected Lundkvist’s shot from the center point past Martin.

The Blue Jackets pulled Martin with about five minutes remaining, and Robertson scored into the empty net at 17:04.
