Trayce Jackson-Davis had 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead No. 12 Indiana to an 86-56 win over Miami (Ohio) on Sunday in Indianapolis.

Jalen Hood-Schifino scored 12 points, and Malik Reneau and Miller Kopp each added 10 points to flank Jackson-Davis for Indiana (4-0).

Mekhi Lairy and Julian Lewis each scored 12 points in defeat for Miami (1-5), which dropped its third straight.

Indiana shot 49.2 percent from the field overall (31 of 63) and 33.3 percent from 3-point range (7 of 21) while outrebounding the Redhawks by a 46-35 margin.

Of the 68 field-goal attempts by Miami, 34 of them were from 3-point range. The Redhawks made 10 of those 3-pointers (29.4 percent) and shot just 32.4 percent from the field.

Indiana held a 45-29 lead with 18:44 remaining in the game, and the Hoosiers used a 14-4 run to take a 59-33 lead with 13:20 left.

The Hoosiers kept growing their lead from there, going up by as many as 34 points with 3:42 left.

Miami managed to shave the deficit under 30 points at 83-56 with 1:20 left, but that was as close as it got to Indiana the rest of the way.

The Redhawks hung with Indiana for the first 13 minutes of the first half, getting to within 21-20 on Ryan Mabrey’s 3-pointer with 7:43 left until halftime.

But Indiana started to take charge from there, first going on a 7-0 run to take a 28-20 lead with 5:45 remaining in the first half.

Leading 32-26 with 2:53 remaining in the first half, Indiana closed the half on an 11-0 run to take a 43-26 lead at halftime.

The Hoosiers collected eight steals, with Reneau grabbing three.

Jordan Geronimo had six points, four rebounds, five blocked shots and two steals.
