Racing Louisville acquired U.S. women’s national team midfielder Taylor Flint from the San Diego Wave on Monday.

In exchange for the 25-year-old Flint (formerly Kornieck), the Wave received $150,000 in allocation money.

Flint also agreed to a restructured contract with Louisville that runs through the 2025 NWSL season.

“We are so excited for Taylor to join our group,” Racing head coach Bev Yanez said. “She’s dynamic and has such a strong presence on both sides of the ball. She provides versatility with a wealth of league experience, which will be a huge addition to the squad.”

Flint had six goals and four assists in 45 matches across all competitions with San Diego over the past two seasons. She has two goals in 12 appearances with the USWNT.
