The Florida Mayhem swept the Houston Outlaws 4-0 in the best-of-seven grand final to win the Overwatch League Season 6 championship on Sunday in Toronto.

Florida finished a perfect run through the playoffs after finishing 2-0 in Group 2 and winning 3-1 over the Boston Uprising in a semifinal match earlier Sunday.

The Mayhem earned their first championship and the $1 million grand prize that came with it. Tae-min “MER1T” Choi of South Korea was named Most Valuable Player of the grand final.

Eight teams reached the playoff stage via their performances in the regular season and play-ins, with the teams split into two groups of four for double-elimination group play.

Four teams — the Mayhem, Outlaws, Uprising and Hangzhou Spark — emerged from the groups and played in a single-elimination playoff bracket on Sunday.

The Mayhem opened their semifinal match with a 2-0 win on Busan, but Boston countered with a 2-1 result on Midtown. Florida then eked out a 3-2 win on New Junk City and a 1-0 triumph on Colosseo to advance.

Meanwhile, the Outlaws swept the Spark 3-0 in the other semifinal. Houston won 2-1 on Busan, 6-5 on King’s Row and 3-0 on Suravasa.

The Mayhem pulled out four narrow wins in a row in the grand final — 2-1 on Antarctic Peninsula, 3-2 on Blizzard World, 3-2 on Suravasa and 1-0 on Esperanca.

Hangzhou swept Boston 3-0 in the third-place match, prevailing 2-0 on Ilios, 1-0 on Midtown and 3-1 on New Junk City.

Overwatch League prize pool:
1. $1 million — Florida Mayhem
2. $400,000 — Houston Outlaws
3. $225,000 — Hangzhou Spark
4. $130,000 — Boston Uprising
5-6. $50,000 — London Spitfire, Dallas Fuel
7-8. no money — Atlanta Reign, Seoul Infernal
