The teams that finished third through 10th in the monthlong qualifying round are competing in the double-elimination knockout round, with two places in Midseason Madness on the line. The Atlanta Reign and Houston Outlaws booked their spots in Midseason Madness by finishing first and second, respectively, in qualifying.

Los Angeles and Boston will square off on Saturday, with the winner nabbing a Midseason Madness berth. The loser will compete in the lower-bracket final on Sunday.

The Gladiators downed the Mayhem 2-0 on Oasis, 3-2 on Hollywood and 3-2 on Junkertown.

The Justice opened with a 1-0 win on Antarctic Peninsula before the Uprising captured Hollywood 2-1 and Shambali Monastery 2-1. Washington extended the match with a 1-0 win on New Queen Street, but Boston sealed the series by taking Lijiang Tower 2-1.
