Tyler Kolek scored 21 points and dished out 10 assists as No. 6 Marquette clinched the outright Big East regular-season title with a 72-56 win over Butler on Tuesday in Indianapolis.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper scored 14 points and grabbed five boards while Oso Ighodaro added 12 points and six rebounds for Marquette (24-6, 16-3 Big East), which won its fifth game in a row.

Marquette captured its first outright conference title since joining the Big East in 2005. The lone time the Golden Eagles won a piece of the conference crown was when they shared it with both Georgetown and Louisville in the 2012-13 season. This is also the first time in Big East history a team picked as low as ninth in the preseason poll went on to win the conference.

Butler (14-16, 6-13) was led by Jayden Taylor with 13 points and Jalen Thomas with 10 points and eight rebounds.

No. 3 Kansas 67, Texas Tech 63

Jalen Wilson scored a game-high 21 points and the Jayhawks held off the Red Raiders in Lawrence, Kan., to clinch no worse than a tie for the Big 12 Conference regular-season title.

Dajuan Harris added 16 points and five assists for the Jayhawks (25-5, 13-4 Big 12). Kevin McCullar contributed 14 points for Kansas, which won its 57th straight home game against an unranked opponent.

De’Vion Harmon scored 15 points for Texas Tech (16-14, 5-12). Kevin Obanor added 14, while Fardaws Aimaq contributed 13 points and 18 rebounds.

No. 12 Tennessee 75, Arkansas 57

Olivier Nkamhoua scored 16 points and Santiago Vescovi added 14 as the Volunteers maintained their grip on fourth place and a double bye in the upcoming Southeastern Conference tournament with a victory over the Razorbacks in Knoxville, Tenn.

Josiah-Jordan James added 11 points for the Volunteers (22-8, 11-6 SEC). Tennessee lost starting point guard Zakai Ziegler to an apparent knee injury less than three minutes into the game.

Anthony Black and Devo Davis shared scoring honors with 13 apiece for Arkansas (19-11, 8-9), which lost for the fourth time in six games.

No. 13 Virginia 64, Clemson 57

Jayden Gardner scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half and Isaac McKneely did the same as the Cavaliers held off the Tigers in Charlottesville, Va.

Virginia (22-6, 14-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) snapped a two-game losing streak, pulled into a tie for second place in the league with No. 16 Miami and clinched a spot in the top four in the league, guaranteeing a double bye in next week’s ACC tournament.

Clemson (21-9, 13-6) was led by PJ Hall, who had 19 points and nine rebounds, and Hunter Tyson, who contributed 17 points and nine boards, in the lone meeting of the teams this year.

Iowa 90, No. 15 Indiana 68

Kris Murray poured in 26 points and point guard Tony Perkins guided Iowa masterfully with 23 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as the Hawkeyes shellacked the Hoosiers in Bloomington, Ind.

Filip Rebraca posted 16 points and eight rebounds for Iowa (19-11, 11-8 Big Ten). Payton Sandfort also scored 16 points, mostly from going 5 of 9 from 3-point range.

Trayce Jackson-Davis led the Hoosiers (20-10, 11-8) with 26 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Boise State 66, No. 18 San Diego State 60

Max Rice scored 12 of his 26 points in a game-ending, 14-0 run as the Broncos upset the Aztecs in Boise.

Tyson Degenhart scored 14 points and Naje Smith finished with 10 for Boise State (23-7, 13-4 Mountain West), which pulled within a game of the Aztecs for first place in the conference with one game remaining.

Matt Bradley scored 16 points and Micah Parrish had 11 points off the bench for San Diego State (23-6, 14-3), which didn’t score after taking a 60-52 lead on a three-point play by Parrish with 4:48 left.

No. 24 Texas A&M 69, Ole Miss 61

Tyrece Radford scored 13 points and the Aggies held off the Rebels in Oxford, Miss.

Wade Taylor IV scored 12 points and Julius Marble added 10 for the Aggies (22-8, 14-3 SEC), who clinched at least the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. Texas A&M finishes the regular season at home against No. 2 Alabama — the top team in the conference — on Saturday.

Matthew Murrell scored a season-high 26 points, making a career-high eight 3-pointers (on 11 attempts) to lead the Rebels (11-19, 3-14) in their final home game of the season.
