Late in the second quarter, the Heat went ahead 42-39 when Highsmith hit a tough layup.

The Sixers responded with a 6-0 run for a 45-42 advantage, highlighted by a 3-pointer from Oubre. Maxey also knocked down a free throw after Martin was whistled for a technical foul.

Highsmith made a 3-pointer from the corner with 47.4 seconds left for a 49-48 Miami lead.

Oubre dropped in a trey with 0.2 seconds remaining and the Sixers led 51-49 at halftime. Maxey paced the Sixers with 18 first-half points. Adebayo hit all six of his shots before the break and led the Heat with 13.

Philadelphia ripped off a 15-0 run for a 68-51 advantage with 7:07 left in the third quarter following a dunk by Oubre.

Adebayo hit a 3-pointer with three minutes remaining in the third to close the gap to 74-60. It marked the first time in his career that Adebayo made two 3-pointers.
