Sean Strickland defeated Nassourdine Imavov by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Strickland (26-5) took the cards 49-46, 49-46, 48-47 in their light heavyweight main event at the UFC Apex.

Strickland replaced Kelvin Gastelum, who was supposed to fight Imavov (12-4) in the main event but was forced to withdraw five days before the fight due to a mouth injury.

Strickland just lost by split decision to Jared Cannonier at Fight Night four weeks ago. His headlining of back-to-back events hadn’t happened since 2005.
