Lexy Keys’ 3-pointer with 40 seconds remaining helped Oklahoma hold on for a 91-87 victory over No. 10 Texas on Wednesday in Austin, Texas.

The Sooners (12-6, 6-1 Big 12) led by 10 points with 3:47 to play before the Longhorns (18-3, 5-3) went on an 11-2 run. Texas climbed within 85-84 on Madison Booker’s layup with 59 seconds remaining.

Key then connected off an assist from Nevaeh Tot. Booker missed a jump shot, Oklahoma got the rebound and Tot sank 1 of 2 free throws for a five-point lead. Another miss by Texas followed by another 1-of-2 effort at the free-throw line by Tot made it 90-84 with 13 seconds to play.

Booker hit a 3-pointer with seven seconds to play but Tot made another 1 of 2 at the line to seal the outcome.

All five Oklahoma starters finished with double-figure point totals. Skylar Vann had 19 points and 12 rebounds, Payton Verhulst scored 18 points, Keys had 15 points, Tot logged 14 points and 10 boards, and Sahara Williams put up 13 points.

Booker, a freshman, scored a season-high 29 points to lead Texas. Shay Holle added 22 points, Aaliyah Moore had 11, and Taylor Jones wound up with 10.

No. 21 Creighton 77, Georgetown 72

Lauren Jensen poured in 21 points and Morgan Maly added 20 as the Bluejays pulled away in the fourth quarter to down the Hoyas in Washington.

Graceann Bennett’s layup with 6:45 remaining gave Georgetown a 62-61 lead, but Jensen responded by scoring the next six points. She hit a 3-pointer, was fouled and completed the four-point play, then sank a layup for a 67-62 edge with 5:19 to go.

The Hoyas pulled within three points on five occasions after that but never got closer.

Emma Ronsiek scored 15 points and Molly Mogensen had 11 as Creighton (15-3, 6-2 Big East) posted its fifth consecutive win.

Brianna Scott led Georgetown (15-4, 4-4) with 17 points off the bench, while Jada Claude — another reserve — and Kelsey Ransom each had 14. Ransom added a game-high six assists.
