Baby and Maternity stocks are soaring in China because of a new policy to allow families to have three babies.

Many years ago, China had a soaring population. So much that they implemented a rule to all women who were planning to have babies that they could only have one child.  Due to overpopulation and  growing  poverty concerns, China’s one-child policy had been around for almost  35 years in Beijing

The stocks that are relevant for maternity and baby products have risen to new heights. The reason is because of the change for  family planning in China. Couples may now have three babies as announced by the Chinese  Communist Party’s top leaders. A date has not yet been set for this ruling.

Good Baby, Jinx infertility group gained 18 percent, and  Aidigong Maternal & Child Health rose 22% in Mondays trading.

Beingmate, the infant formula manufacturer, rose up 8% in and Goldlok Holdings, the maker of electric trains and dolls, was up 10%. Along with Clothing maker Lancy, traded up 7%.

its 2020 census, which showed China’s population was growing at its slowest rate in decades. That’s putting major pressure on an economy that relies on a young workforce to support an aging population and keep up high levels of growth.
